What do you do with the tail after casting on your stitches (Knitting)? - knitting after rotator cuff surgery

What to do with this little string thats left to hang after gypsum in the points. I do not know anyone who knits, and I taught myself, like a book, but it does not say anythign to know what to do with this damn thats piece of string to the left side.

You thread a tapestry needle (large needle with a blunt) and weave end into points and points. After about half an inch of weaving end down and back again, just to the points back if they do not show through. You can look for a knitty.com PIC type of tissue in the extreme on the website.
