What size engine do I need for my Kingfisher 30 sailing yacht? - kingfisher boats
LWL 30 feet boat 25 feet with 4000 kg capacity. Prop size is 13 inches maximum hull speed over a maximum of 7kts. A technician says I need to replace the old Watermota 33hp petrol engine with a minimum 28hp diesel. The other says a 16HP diesel will be correct. A breakthrough in size and price! The cost is obviously a problem, but safety. Here's the dilemma. Someone Care to comment?
